South African Rugby Star Ronald Brown On How He Overcame Cancer To Return To Elite Sport

Ronald Brown is a South African rugby sevens superstar, who had his life and career put on hold in 2019 when he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

He has faced one of life’s biggest challenges in being diagnosed with cancer. He has now come out on the other side, and has become an integral part of the current South African side. The team is now dominating the sport, having won four out of four legs so far in the 2022 HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series with Ronald as a key player. Ronald’s heroic performance on the pitch this year had him named player of the final, after scoring a hat-trick against USA in Dubai.
